About The Role As the HR Assistant, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring smooth operations within the HR team. From managing employee records to providing advice on HR policies, you’ll be the go-to for a wide range of HR-related tasks. This role is full-time (35 hours/week) with an hourly rate of £13.75 - £16.50 (DOE) What You’ll Do Act as a key point of contact for daily HR queries and provide guidance on policies and procedures. Oversee HR documentation, including onboarding paperwork, employment contracts, and right-to-work checks. Maintain and update employee records in HR/Payroll systems. Support the tracking and recording of employee leave and absences. Process monthly payroll support tasks and help with any ad-hoc administrative tasks. Coordinate and issue documentation related to changes in employment terms. Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and process improvements. What We’re Looking For A couple of years of experience in HR administration or a similar role. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage queries professionally and promptly. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. A proactive approach and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
