Job Description
We are currently looking for a Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) for our client, an innovative UK-based manufacturing business specializing in sustainable battery production for electric vehicles. The successful candidate will manage communication and partnerships with Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, and stakeholders.
The Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) will:
1. Translate and interpret technical documents, reports, and agreements between Mandarin and English.
2. Work closely with technical stakeholders to align project goals.
3. Help resolve technical and operational challenges by coordinating between international teams.
4. Provide insights on Chinese business culture, market trends, and industry developments.
5. Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments.
6. Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams.
The Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) will have:
1. Technical background (degree or experience in Engineering, Battery Technology, Automotive, or Manufacturing).
2. Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) – essential for technical communication.
3. Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and supplier management.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
5. Experience working with Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, or business partners would be a plus.
6. Experience in project coordination within an automotive, battery, or manufacturing environment.
