Catering Assistant (with driving) South West Norse
* Salary: £23,20 pro rata, equates to £11.44 per hour
* Hours: 15
* Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10.45am - 1.45pm (term time only)
South West Norse delivers catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to clients in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Plymtree Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.
The Role:
You will support all aspects of the catering service including the preparation, cooking, presentation, and service of nutritious food and beverages to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and QA procedures.
This customer-facing role provides great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.
As part of this role, you will collect meals from Castle Primary School to deliver and serve at Plymtree Primary School. Therefore, a full UK driver's licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

We ideally seek an individual with previous experience in the role, but we offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals looking to develop within the catering industry. We expect you to demonstrate:
* Previous catering experience or willingness to be trained.
* Friendly and polite customer service.
* Capability to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
* Ability to work within a team.
* Full UK driver's licence and access to your own vehicle; business use insurance is also required.
