We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our team. Is this you?

We provide a multi-channel, first point of contact service for a variety of external and internal customers, responding to queries through reception services, telephone, e-mail and web-based enquiries.
We are looking for someone who has proven ability in customer service, who can remain calm under pressure, and who thrives in a demanding and challenging environment.
You will be patient and attentive to customer needs, providing them with appropriate responses to their requests for service.
Attention to detail is key as you will need to record information accurately using a variety of IT systems.
Excellent communication skills, confident in face to face, telephone and written activities and good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively and flexibly and as part of a team are a must.
As a team we cover a variety of locations within the Neath Port Talbot County Borough. A requirement of the post is the ability to travel between sites to meet business need.
Ideally you will have;
4 GCSE’s at grade C or above, one of which must be English or Welsh, plus Mathematics, or a qualification of a comparable level e.g. Intermediate GNVQ Level 2, BTEC First Certificate. Or have relevant experience to evidence in place of these.
A NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service is also desirable but not essential.
Good Customer Service means consistently meeting customers’ expectations.
