We’re recruiting: Operations Finance Business Partner
Müller has been a beloved brand in the UK for over 30 years. It is a household name and continues to grow as we invest in producing and marketing an expanding range of dairy products. Currently, Müller is the 8th most chosen FMCG brand, selected from supermarket shelves over 208 million times each year.
Müller Yogurts & Desserts are seeking an experienced Operations Finance Business Partner to be based at our Telford office with a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will serve as a key business partner to the Operations Financial Controller and the Telford Operations Leadership Team, providing daily operational and strategic financial support. Candidates should have experience in a large commercial organization, ideally within FMCG, and possess strong systems and processes expertise, preferably with SAP.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing weekly and monthly management information reports, including month-end reporting and variance analysis for manufacturing and materials.
2. Partnering with the Telford Operations management team to provide timely insights that enhance operational performance.
3. Forecasting monthly manufacturing overheads and material costs for Private Label products.
4. Updating SAP product costing data monthly and explaining significant movements.
5. Collaborating with the Private Label Commercial Team on NPD product costing and evaluating new business tenders.
6. Working with R&D, Packaging, and Procurement to identify and evaluate cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
7. Building the Telford Plant Budget and reporting on key variances.
8. Owning the Ops Monthly KPI performance report and communicating results to the manufacturing leadership team.
9. Supporting the month-end close process by explaining key operational variances against targets.
Skills & experience required:
* CIMA Accountant or Part Qualified with strong analytical skills.
* Preferably experience within FMCG.
* Proficiency in SAP CO-PC and product cost building.
* Effective business partnering skills, including communication, challenge, and providing value-added insights.
* Ability to develop relationships across operational and support functions.
