Treatment Studio, an award-winning creative studio in Borough, London, seeks a highly organized Media Librarian to join our dynamic team. We offer an exciting opportunity to support our fast-paced, multidisciplinary design and production practice, specializing in experiences for live music tours, festivals, art installations, experiential spaces, branding campaigns, and theatrical productions.
About the Role:
As our Media Librarian, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our digital assets and supporting our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to tackle diverse tasks. The role involves light physical activity frequently, including use of a staircase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise, log, and archive project files across multiple platforms and storage systems
- Manage media on hard drives, create backups, and track files
- Liaise with the IT team to support infrastructure across all projects
- Manage physical assets, stock archives, render processes, and software subscriptions
- Troubleshoot IT issues for creative team members
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
- Available for occasional out-of-hours work as projects demand
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a creative environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in digital archiving and media library management
- High proficiency in office computer systems and software
- Working knowledge of IT network design
- Expertise in media asset management and file organization
- Experience with logging digital content across various platforms
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of Deadline renderer, Unreal Engine, and Notch
- Previous experience working with LTO tape archival
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g library science, or information science
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Cinema 4D
Location: Borough, London
Schedule: Full-time, employed, 5 days/week in-studio.
Contract Length: To be confirmed.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Start Date: Immediate.
