Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will work in a multidisciplinary team to assist the qualified Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with the treatment of inpatients.
The post holder will also assist with day-to-day organisational tasks to help the smooth running of the whole team.

Job Responsibilities
To work with a range of inpatients, of any age, under the care of GWH. Locations include assessment areas and inpatient wards.
To assess patients with routine and non-complex conditions independently according to agreed guidelines and documentation.
To follow identified guidelines and treatment programmes and implement these in collaboration with the occupational therapist or physiotherapist if required.
To be responsible for progressing treatment following direction from a qualified therapist, operative regimes, or guidelines.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
* NVQ/Care certificate or similar in Health and Social Care
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
