This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours a week. Salary Training hourly rate of £12.50 Qualified hourly rate of £14.17 (Monday to Friday) Enhanced rates on the weekend of up to £18.01 The role We are looking for people with a full UK Drivers Licence, with passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will also be required to, Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized bus interior. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus. Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as necessary. Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner. Follow designated routes and schedules. What you need Hold a full UK drivers’ licence for at least 12 months. Have no more than 6 Points (all driving offences must be disclosed at application stage) Must be a regular confident driver. Familiar with the Cardiff area Previous experience as a bus driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. Must be reliable and punctual.
