We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Webcast/Podcast Producer who has a passion for media production and is adept at using a range of streaming, audio-visual, and video conferencing technologies.
This role demands an adaptable mindset, a strong technical skill set, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, as you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and professional digital content to support internal communications, client engagement, and thought leadership initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
1. Plan, produce, and edit webcasts and podcasts, ensuring high-quality audio and video standards
2. Manage pre-production, live broadcasts, and post-production processes
3. Operate and troubleshoot audio-visual and streaming equipment
4. Ensure seamless integration with video conferencing tools such as Microsoft MTR and/or Cisco systems
5. Work closely with subject matter experts, executives, and marketing teams to produce compelling, audience-focused content
6. Implement best practices for recording, editing, and distributing digital media content
7. Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
8. Maintain documentation, including production schedules, equipment inventories, and troubleshooting guides
Skills and experience:
1. Ability to guide clients through the entire webcast process; request intake, pre-event briefing and consultation, testing, live and/or on-demand event production, streaming, recording, post-event communication and debriefing
2. Experience within the corporate environment in webcast, podcast, or live-stream production
3. Extensive knowledge of streaming media technologies, CODECs, servers
4. Experience of the latest digital media, compression and transmission technologies
5. Strong skills in audio and video editing software (e.g. Audacity, Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro)
6. Familiarity with common video formats and streaming protocols
7. Experience of using webcasting platforms with experience of Microsoft Live Events/Teams Town Hall desirable
8. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage complex production schedules
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
