Registered Service Manager needed for a Care Home in Milton Keynes

We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Service Manager with strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have a fantastic background in care, along with a thorough understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, this home provides comfortable ensuite accommodation for up to 14 residents, along with spacious, well-equipped communal spaces for dining and relaxation.
Rehabilitation is carried out in a contemporary, peaceful, and fully equipped setting, with a strong focus on assistive devices. Those supported have access to a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities, such as cooking, gardening, and arts and crafts, and enjoy the use of a dedicated games and music room.
Key requirements for Service Manager Role:
To excel in this role, we are seeking a Service Manager with the following qualifications and qualities:
* 2+ years of managerial experience within a Care Home setting
* Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans
* NVQ level 5 or equivalent
* Experience working with brain rehabilitation desirable
* CQC Registered

As a Service Manager, you will be a key leader within a caring and dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage all aspects of the service to ensure high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
* Lead and direct a multidisciplinary team to achieve objectives.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant legislation.
* Provide professional leadership and hands-on management, guiding staff activities and influencing practices and attitudes.
* Manage the senior management team and lead clinicians, ensuring performance standards are met and providing operational support.
* Oversee budget management, including capital and revenue, ensuring staffing levels are maintained unless exceptions are authorized.
* Manage recruitment, employment, and compliance with Employment Law, ensuring induction, training, and support meet statutory requirements and standards.
* Plan and manage staff annual leave to ensure the service runs smoothly at all times.
