Our client, an IT services company which supports local businesses around the UK, is looking for a confident person who’s interested in building their sales career, to be based at their office in the village of Cullen on the Moray coast.

What will the role involve? Key duties and responsibilities for our Business Development Executive are:
• Building a database of prospects via telephone, email & LinkedIn outreach
• Converting enquiries into orders quickly and efficiently
• Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements
• Developing and negotiating contracts
• Maintaining existing customer relationships and maximising revenue
• Making and attending appointments for customers/prospects over a wide geographic area
• Visiting other company offices
• Attending business seminars and networking events
• Contributing to marketing campaigns & social media
• Logging all sales enquiries on the CRM system
• Evaluating and bringing on new products to elevate business proposition
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
• Good with people - you’ll be selling IT solutions to internal IT teams and business owners
• Comfortable making outbound calls - ideally would suit someone who’s worked in a telemarketing or door to door sales position
• Relationship builder who relishes face-to-face networking and building relationships online
• Strong background in Information Technology
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential
• A full UK driving licence is a requirement for this role
