Role Overview: As an Electrical Training Officer, you will deliver NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance content to small classes of up to 14 trainees. Your role will be a blend of 50% theory and 50% practical training, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and deliver training materials to meet safety, technical, and behavioural standards. - Develop and review lesson plans, implementing improvements based on feedback. - Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on trainee progress, offering guidance as needed. - Evaluate trainee competency and support their development. - Collaborate with other training officers to promote a culture of health, safety, and good housekeeping. - Maintain accurate records of trainee performance and progress. - Act as a mentor, helping trainees overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Experience: At least 5 years in an Electrical Maintenance role, or as a Training Officer in Electrical Maintenance. - Background: Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments. - Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 3. - Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Desirable: Working towards or holding Level 3 Award in Education and Training, CTLLS, NVQ Level 3 in Direct Training & Support, A1 and/or V1 (D32/D33/D34), Cert.
