The Junior Project Manager provides support for the successful implementation of nuclear power projects at Holtec Britain. Projects encompass all phases of the project life cycle, with the SMR-300 GDA as the initial assignment.
Principal duties include:
1. Collection of contract and project requirements.
2. Responsible for planning and arranging meetings, taking minutes and documenting actions.
3. Receiving, tracking and monitoring drawings and documentation, inputting of document information for reports and logging into database Support cross-team communication.
4. Establish and updates tasks or timelines as needed.
5. Maintain project metrics including budget and KPIs.
6. Implementation of Project Management budget and schedule management tools to ensure project success.
7. Provide support to the lead Project Manager, interfacing with Holtec’s corporate offices, factories, local subcontractors.
8. Management of defined packages of work.
9. Coordinate and manage communications with suppliers and partner organisations.
10. Provide weekly reports on assigned projects.
11. Make decisions and recommendations within authorised limits. Exercise considerable judgment and initiative in interpreting policy in the planning and implementation of projects and/or work assignments.
12. Responding to internal and external emails and documentation requests.
13. Generating and issuing weekly progress status reports for both internal and external documentation.
14. Expediting review of internal and external documentation within project functions.
15. Ensure that the planning data that inputs into the required reports to allow Senior Managers to direct the project appropriately, is accurate, validated by the Project Manager and up to date as required.
