Dilton Marsh Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant (Breakfast Club) to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our before-school provision.Contract: Fixed Term (until 31st March 2026). Working Hours: Part time (5 hours per week, 7.30am until 8.30am, Monday-Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days). Required: March 2025.We are a happy and popular, single form entry, primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11. Located in the charming village of Dilton Marsh, we have strong relationships with the local community and Holy Trinity Church. Our staff are dedicated to providing a safe, happy, caring, creative and nurturing learning environment, where everyone is valued as an individual and encouraged to become independent and resilient learners. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.
We are looking for someone who: Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children; Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents; Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children; Has experience of working with children (4 – 11 years old) in a play / educational setting; Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one); Is a strong team player; Has a positive and flexible attitude; Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children; is First Aid trained (advantageous).
