Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised, efficient, and reliable individual to ensure the smooth running of the office and support the team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-organised office environment, is customer-focused, an excellent listener, and committed to understanding and meeting customer needs.
This role would be well-suited to a parent with young children, looking for a position that fits around school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct enquiries appropriately.
* Respond to emails promptly and professionally.
* Take accurate notes during meetings and distribute them as required.
* Prepare teas, coffees, and refreshments for staff and visitors.
* Greet customers in the showroom, assist with initial enquiries.
* Ensure the office environment and showroom is clean, organised, and presentable.
* Carry out light tidying, cleaning and organisation in shared spaces and showroom.
* Assist with setting up rooms, equipment, and materials for meetings, tidy space if necessary.
* Complete general admin tasks, errands and odd jobs as required by the team.
Experience & Skills required:
* Previous customer service experience / client facing role.
* Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail.
* Highly organised with multitasking ability.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
* Previous junior sales experience.
* Happy lone working, self-motivated and outgoing.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in basic IT applications (e.g., email, Microsoft office, Google drive and docs).
* Non-smoker (preferable).
* Full driving licence.
Schedule:
* Flexitime
* Monday to Friday
