My client is a leading financial services institution, committed to driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards in managing risk across their IT infrastructure. With a reputation for excellence and a forward-thinking approach, they are seeking a dynamic leader to head their IT Risk division across multiple regional hubs in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the IT Risk function, overseeing risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.
* Develop and implement IT risk management frameworks that support the business's strategic objectives.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure IT risk is aligned with operational and business priorities.
* Lead and mentor a team of IT risk professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on IT risk-related matters.
* Ensure compliance with relevant risk regulations and contribute to audit and governance activities.
Must-Have:
* Extensive IT experience with a strong background in operational risk management.
* Proven track record of leadership in IT risk, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Experience working across multiple teams and locations, with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to lead and influence at senior levels, providing strategic guidance on risk mitigation.
* Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within financial services.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive a high-performance culture.
