Job Description
Summary
We are the public body that looks after England's historic environment. We champion historic places, helping people understand, value, and care for them.
We are looking for a Customer Relationship Senior Manager to join our Finance Team.
What you will be doing
1. Leading a customer-focused team, designing and imparting relationship-focused shared service initiatives, while driving sustainable efficiencies and cost-saving behaviours across Historic England’s Corporate Services shared services.
2. Influencing at all levels, developing strong relationships with external partners and key internal stakeholder groups.
3. Representing the Finance Shared Service and partnering with Corporate Services Shared Service Leads to inspire strong service relationships and drive an excellent customer experience.
4. Driving the relationship business partnering team, working with the Finance, HR, and IMT departments in their engagement with external stakeholders.
5. Developing and motivating the finance contact centre and training teams, shaping partnerships with finance expert delivery teams to inspire the delivery of excellent customer services.
6. Providing SLA activity and performance reporting for the joint Historic England/English Heritage governance board.
7. Working with the Head of Strategic Planning to ensure Corporate Services SLA terms are upheld between Historic England and its customers.
8. Collaborating with the Head of Strategic Planning in producing a value-adding KPI performance and management information reporting suite for all shared services.
9. Chairing regular service performance meetings with senior management and conducting performance reviews to maximize customer satisfaction survey results for Corporate Services shared services.
10. Leading the contract change processes for all Corporate Services shared services.
Who we are looking for:
1. Significant experience and understanding of working within busy multiple team Finance and IMT departments.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication.
3. Excellent listening and influencing skills.
4. Proven track record in customer relationship management.
5. Strong role model demonstrating commitment to high standards of service, honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
6. Experienced People Manager.
