We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Shared Lives Support Officer, on a 2.5 month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.45 - £15.77 per hour Responsibilities: To provide support to the Shared Lives team, with due regard to confidentiality and safeguarding. This will include regular communications with carers and customers. To act as a point of contact for customers, Shared Lives carers and others on Shared Lives business processes and Shared Lives operational service issues. To oversee information relating to finance, staffing, carers, customers and other service requirements. This will include producing reports and maintaining up to date lists and databases. This will also include gathering data and producing returns for CQC and stakeholders where required. To monitor and review scheme processes and systems to improve service delivery, communication systems and support systems, ensuring that the information held is accurate and of high quality. This will include a quality assurance function and the setting up and maintenance of a new audit function to ensure compliance with scheme policies and procedures and CQC To undertake a range of financial support processes, including processing orders, resolving issues, overseeing the Shared Lives payments and invoicing process and acting as a point of contact for carer queries. Qualifications: Good literacy and numeracy skills to NVQ level 2 or equivalent Experience: Experience of providing detailed reports and information Experience of working in a busy office environment. Experience of data input and data management ensuring accuracy and confidentiality when required. Experienced and competent in using IT Experience of coordinating meetings and handling actions and outcomes Experience providing information to the public using good communication skills Experience of Shared Lives and the systems and processes required under the schemes policies and procedures Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
