Senior Energy EngineerA leading provider of clean technology and renewable energy solutions, specializing in energy efficiency, infrastructure upgrades, asset sustainability, and renewable energy projects across Europe and North America is seeking a senior energy engineer to join the team in their London office. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and assess Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) at potential client sites.Conduct energy audits and surveys to analyze opportunities.Develop capital cost estimates and energy savings models for identified ECMs.Prepare technical documentation for bid submissions.Present technical solutions at client and bid meetings.Evaluate existing system configurations and operations at client facilities.Compile and analyze relevant energy data.Develop conceptual designs for energy-related projects.Produce final feasibility reports and presentations.Refine conceptual designs based on feasibility analysis, including on-site assessments.Finalize project schemes and selections.Create heat and mass balance models for selected schemes.Develop detailed equipment lists, performance specifications, P&IDs, and control philosophies.Prepare project drawings, layouts, and pricing packages to support contractor assessments and capital approvals.Support project implementation by finalizing designs, equipment specifications, and layouts.Provide technical expertise to project teams during construction and commissioning phases.Participate in HAZOP reviews, technical assessments, and on-site performance trials.Maintain accurate records in company work-monitoring systems.Identify opportunities to improve operations, streamline processes, and enhance customer service.Assist with sales and business development activities.Perform general administrative and office-related tasks as needed.QualificationsEngineering degree (preferably in chemical, mechanical, or electrical disciplines).Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in energy-related projects or field engineering.Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.Personal AttributesEnthusiastic, confident, and adaptable with a customer-focused mindset.Passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize work under pressure.Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe, with a base in Central London.This role provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact on energy sustainability, working on innovative projects that contribute to a greener future.
