The Role / Who we are looking for:
As a rapidly growing, award-winning Employer of Choice, we’re seeking to expand our capacity with a crucial member of our technical leadership team that can effectively help the overarching governance of multi-projects, ensuring we are doing the right things by our existing customers while working to bring onboard new customers and team members.
We anticipate that an effective Principal Architect will have prior experiences with consultancy, hands-on delivery, demonstrable pre-sales success, and strong relationships with our primary partner, Microsoft.
Day to day this will include:
1. Designing and setting up multi-year transformation and software development programmes
2. Pre-sales driven technical management of early customer engagements (including bid writing)
3. Providing commercial and technical assurance to solution architects (and other technical roles) on key projects
4. Underwriting technical/solution risks
5. Assuring there is a solid, scalable release management process with DevSecOps
6. Identifying and flagging any potential IP opportunities with the products team
7. Assuring solution compliance with KD architectural principles
8. Contributing to the technical leadership team, helping to shape the sustainable growth of the organisation
9. Providing consultancy to end-client organisations on managing the transition to CI & Support as managed service; and licensing requirements and optimisation
10. Supporting the Sector leadership team and Programme Management in defining new phases of work with existing customers and bridging the sales-to-delivery handover
11. Providing platform expertise in, but not limited to: Microsoft Dynamics (Customer Service), Dataverse, Power Pages
