Fleet Compliance Support Coordinator
Location – National
37.5 hour contract - Monday to Friday.
Frequent travel and working away from home on a weekly basis.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
We are looking for a Fleet Compliance Support Coordinator who will report to the Senior Fleet Compliance Business Partner and work frequently out of a variety of Biffa workshops/offices.
The key purpose is to support all workshops in achieving the required standards in respect of administrative and implementation activities associated with the implementation of SHQ and Fleet Vehicle Compliance systems, as well as providing coaching on the maintenance, documentation, and systems.
The role requires flexibility with the need to respond quickly to short deadlines and reactive situations, so it is key for the role holder to hold a full valid UK driving licence and have the ability to be away from home each week.
A quick look at the role:
* To provide support and guidance to the workshop managers in the delivery and adoption of ISO45001.
* To provide ongoing administrative support to the Senior Fleet Compliance Auditor & Fleet Policy, Compliance and Engagement Manager to review and ensure that the Policies & Procedures attached to compliance and technical safety standards are maintained within the workshops.
* To assist with the delivery, implementation, and maintenance of the Group Management System commonly referred to as GIMs.
* To attend all relevant fleet meetings and provide any ISO45001/technical safety updates and information that are relevant to workshops.
* To work alongside and support existing Fleet Compliance Auditors whilst gaining knowledge and understanding of the vehicle Operator licensing requirements and auditing thereof.
* Ensure and support the implementation of positive working practices and compliance administration are adopted into new workshops that are acquired either via acquisitions and mobilisations.

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office, especially in Excel).
* Full valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Strong administrative experience preferably in a fleet environment.
* Working knowledge and understanding of fleet management systems.
* Ability to communicate professionally via phone, face to face, and in writing at all levels including management, team members, and internal/external customers.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines.
