WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
Are you guest focused, with attention to detail, proven sales experience and excellent hotel knowledge? Good organisational and administration skills are essential. Previous experience in a 5* property of similar scale and experience of Delphi is essential, although full training will be given to the right candidate.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
To be responsible for the day-to-day activity and effective management of the Event Sales Team promoting and selling all of the facilities of the Celtic Collection in order to achieve or exceed the financial budget. To ensure the Event Sales team provide an efficient and professional service to all clients and guests with information that is clearly communicated, and that revenue is maximised at every opportunity, in every property within the collection.

The Celtic Collection is a prestigious portfolio of unique hotels and event venues at the gateway to South Wales developed from the success of the Celtic Manor Resort, a flagship business and leisure destination that has been voted the Best UK Hotel for nine of the last 10 years at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards.
Host venue of the 2014 NATO Summit and the 2010 Ryder Cup, the Celtic Manor Resort is one of Europe’s finest destinations for luxury escapes, family breaks, special occasions, golfing getaways and business events. The resort offers three championship golf courses, luxury spas, exceptional conference facilities and team-building and family activities including archery, adventure golf, laser clays and treetop ropes courses.
As well as the five-star Resort Hotel, the Collection also includes the historic Manor House, the stylish Coldra Court Hotel, 10 luxury self-catering Hunter Lodges, and the essential convenience of Tŷ Hotel Magor. The 170-bedroom Parkgate Hotel was opened in the city centre of Cardiff in Autumn 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union, and a second Tŷ Hotel opened its doors at Milford Waterfront in the Spring of 2022 in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven.
In September 2019, The Celtic Collection launched the new International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) in a joint venture partnership with Welsh Government.
