R13 Recruitment are working alongside a market leader in the construction industry based in Norfolk. They are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to advise on regional operational compliance of all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation and ensuring compliance.
This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday- Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. A company car allowance will be provided.

The day to day
* Advising on issues regarding Health, Safety and Environment, ensuring operational compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
* Providing technical knowledge alongside trialling and vetting new products that will reduce potential risks/hazards.
* Acting as the key contact for HSE queries and promoting a positive culture throughout the business.
* Responding to and investigating any incidents that occur, reporting on these in an accurate manner.
* Maintaining up to date knowledge of current legislation and best practice, ensuring this information is distributed throughout the organisation.
You will have/be
* Relevant Health & Safety qualification or equivalent experience working in a supervisory role.
* Proven experience with & knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Policy & Legislation
* Working knowledge of LIMS.
* The ability to communicate effectively across all business levels.
* Experience delivering relevant project documentation and reports.
* Confidence responding to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
