The marketing and communications manager will support our global Clearing businesses with marketing, communications, and events. They will develop and lead a communications, marketing, and events strategy across Marex’s global business to support our initiatives to increase awareness of our capabilities to our existing clients, new clients, and also raise internal awareness within Marex. Experienced at both external communications and internal engagement, the individual will be responsible for supporting these core services, working in close alignment with business leaders -- the Global Head of Clearing, the Global Head of Corporate Affairs, and the broader corporate affairs team as well as other senior business leaders.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Manage Digital Marketing Campaigns and Social Media strategy:
• Plan and execute integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital campaigns, events, and social media.
• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Develop partnerships to promote the services and the brand where appropriate.
2. Content Creation and Management:
• Create engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
• Write and produce multimedia, multichannel content.
3. Events:
• Create a strategic approach to industry events – external conferences and owned events - to better maximize the impact and ROI.
• Manage and support all external and internal events for the Clearing teams.
4. Media engagement:
• Working with Group media relations and external agencies, develop relationships with the core media and undertake proactive media outreach to promote the Clearing business.
5. Internal engagement:
• Develop and deliver initiatives to ensure that the Clearing business is understood internally with Marex colleagues so that cross-sell opportunities are maximized.
• Support internal engagement activities for the Clearing team.
• Create and maintain internal collateral and ensure the Intranet and internal collaboration tools are used effectively and remain up to date.
6. Email Marketing:
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns as required, including writing copy and managing email lists.
• Track and analyze email campaign performance to optimize results.
7. Business development:
• Support business development activities, client targeting, client segmentation, and tender responses.
8. Analytics and Reporting:
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Use data and insights to optimize strategy and tactics.
9. Stay Up-to-date:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
10. Collaboration and Alignment:
• Working with the global corporate affairs team, ensure that all collateral and activity is aligned with global objectives and global brand guidelines, that efficient processes are implemented and followed and that activity is delivered to a budget.
• Other duties as may be required or assigned.
• Understand and adhere to Compliance rules and how role relates to the regulatory framework.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, and other applicable exchanges.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
• Role model for demonstrating the highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
• At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role, or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required.

• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Experience:
• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this and experience working in financial services is desirable.
• Demonstrable and specialized experience in marketing or communications.
