The role of Screening Coordinator is to support the commissioning of safe, high quality national screening programmes. You will provide direct support across a range of commissioning activities to ensure programmes meet national requirements and are delivered effectively, focussing on reducing health inequalities and inequities. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised and passionate about public health. You will have relevant knowledge and experience of working with screening programmes, the ability to manage competing priorities, evaluate and present complex data, and have good communication skills. Main duties of the job The Screening Coordinator has responsibility for: 1) Supporting commissioning of the Section 7a national screening programmes within a defined portfolio to be agreed, which includes: Monitoring performance Developing strong relationships with providers Incident management Responding to queries and advising providers Preparation, and when required minute taking, for Programme Boards within portfolio Monitoring Screening Quality Assurance Service recommendations 2) Participating in local and regional team meetings, sharing knowledge and acting upon recommendations. Maintaining and updating logs on incidents and concerns. 3) Other duties as defined by the job description.
