Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum FTE
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 24 per week - 08:00 - 16:30
Working days between Monday - Friday - flexibility work days & times will be considered. This is an onsite position, based in Telford.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the time and attendance system to track sickness, absence, and overtime.
Manage the clocking system, resolving anomalies daily.
Update holiday entitlements for new starters and maintain the holiday calendar .
Process monthly payroll 250+ staff for hourly and salaried employees, including calculations for pay, deductions, and salary sacrifice schemes.
Administer pensions (auto-enrolment, opt-outs, postponements) and ensure compliance with regulations.
Oversee Apprenticeship Levy records and Finance Gateway transactions.
Distribute electronic payslips and handle payroll-related queries.
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including tax codes, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP, and AOE deductions.
Manage monthly payroll tasks such as new starter checklists, overtime, holiday pay, sickness pay, and leavers final pay calculations .
Process and update records for P45s, P60s, P11Ds, company vehicles, and healthcare benefits .
Generate payroll reports, journals, cost coding, and record-keeping .
Assist with payroll audits and general HR admin tasks.
Verify and process weekly hours for agency staff, sign off invoices, and implement pay increases.
Update employee personal and contractual details as needed
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines .
Experience with time and attendance systems is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level).
Excellent communication skills and ability to handle payroll queries professionally.
