Job Description
We are looking for a HR Manager to deliver people management plans and support SoloProtect's business goals. This role reports to the Finance Director and leads on all HR matters.
Key Activities
* Responsible for HR planning in partnership with senior management.
* Review and update HR policies in line with legislative changes.
* Manage ER casework and advise managers on formal processes such as disciplinaries, grievances, and contractual updates.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws, H&S standards, and D&I policies.
* Oversee recruitment and selection, talent management and succession planning.
* Ensure hiring compliance by verifying right-to-work, ID checks, and reviewing security screening reports.
* Maintain and improve the use of HR systems (HRIS and LMS).
* Provide operational support on ER, employment law, onboarding, job evaluations, D&I, and organisational changes.
* Responsible for managing absenteeism, retention, payroll changes, and accurate references.
* Conduct engagement surveys, analyse feedback, and implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
* Responsible for managing HR projects as directed.
* Responsible for keeping up to date with emerging HR and employment law developments.
* Fulfilment of additional duties as required.
Desired Experience
* Identify learning needs across all levels of the organisation and implement training initiatives to address skills gaps.
* Experience working with EU employment law.
Experience and Qualifications Required
* 3+ years of HR generalist experience.
* Professional HR certification, such as CIPD.
* Demonstrable experience in compliance and employment law.
* Experience in developing and supporting line managers.
* Experience in HR planning and delivering people initiatives.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
