Salary: £40,000 DOE
The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Test & Development Engineer - DVP to develop & understand test requirements and to define the Design Verification Plans and support Vehicle Homologation activities within the Engineering team.

Responsibilities
1. Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company.
2. Coordinate the engineering teams and test system facilitators to produce and communicate vehicle and commodity test plans.
3. Support the test and certification requirements for vehicle type approval and certification by selecting correct routes for type approval.
4. Identify the test fixtures, components & spares required to satisfy the test programme.
5. Coordinate & control the required samples throughout the entire validation phase from ordering through to receipt, build and testing.
6. Communicate with key stakeholders/suppliers to ensure ample capacity for test requirements.
7. Book Individual Vehicle Approvals at Test Centres.
8. Initiate change control for all changes and modifications to the product including any updates to documentation based on results of testing.
Essential Skills
1. Engineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subject.
2. Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes - Excel and Word.
3. A good level of awareness and understanding of Vehicle testing requirements and standards to support the vehicle programmes.
4. Ability to produce clear and accurate technical reports to an extremely high standard.
5. Operational experience with excellent planning and communication skills.
6. Engineering design knowledge.
7. Ability to work efficiently within your role.
8. Excels in organisational skills and time management.
9. A drive to learn and improve at every opportunity.
10. Willingness to support others.
11. Positive attitude towards mastering challenges and changes.
12. Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
