Salary: £13.92 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
Work Pattern: Variable hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Do you enjoy working in a busy College Library, meeting and helping students and staff and providing excellent customer service?
Our Haywards Heath campus is looking for an enthusiastic Library Assistant. You will be helping students find and use resources and assisting the Site Librarian with improving and maintaining stock and facilities. You will provide a welcoming environment for our students, promoting our services, assisting students to make effective use of the library and all its resources, as well as carrying out a wide range of administrative duties.
This is a flexible role which allows you to accept work assignments when convenient to you. Perhaps you are looking for that extra role in addition to your main job that enables you to give back to our students and help shape their future careers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of working in a Library.
2. IT skills.
3. Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Flexible approach to work.
5. Experience in further education and qualifications in administration, IT or library work are advantageous.
