Learning Support Assistant at St Peter’s C of E Primary School Details Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Mon – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch Term time only. Contract: Fixed Term starting as soon as possible to 31.08.25 (pending staffing review) Salary: JG3: Spine point 5-6 £23,500 – £23,893 (FTE) Actual salary: £17,735 - £18,031 (Pay award pending) About The Governors are seeking to appoint 2 learning support assistants to work in one of our year group teams. The posts are currently in year 3 and year 5. St Peter’s is a 630-place primary with beautiful buildings set in lovely green surroundings. The successful candidate will: Be able to build strong and positive relationships with colleagues, children and parents Be passionate about making a difference to all children Have some experience in working with children in a classroom setting and ideally have experience of working with children who have SEND and/or medical conditions Have some experience of teaching phonics and early reading Be flexible and able to work collaboratively and proactively within a busy team Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and improve.
