We have a new position for a Conversion Assistant within our expanding Wills and Probate Department.

* Knowledge of MS Office suite of programmes, Word processing and typing Skills

* Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
* Prioritising, time management and organizational skills
* Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Role
The prime role of the position is to provide direct support to the Wills and Probate department within the firm – primarily dealing with enquiries from potential clients and the associated new client administration. This will include but not be limited to the main responsibilities given below. The candidate is expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
The candidate will report to the Partner and Head of Department.
Main responsibilities
* To listen to and interpret customer’s requirements, and then to provide appropriate quotations
* To maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and other stakeholders
* To respond to incoming phone and email enquiries
* To handle any objections with a view to getting the client to instruct the Firm
* To sell the Firms’ services to existing and potential clients.
* To open new files and organise initial instruction paperwork using the Firms’ case management system
* To undertake initial identity checks using electronic and paper verification.
* To ensure AML risk processes are full adhered to
* To manage a diary to ensure that all clients receive a call or email and quotes are followed up.
* Co-ordinate sales efforts with team members from other departments
* To attend clients as required both on the telephone and occasionally in person to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the Firms standard of client care
* To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development
* To ensure the confidentiality of all of the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information
