Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
* Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
* Developing and implementing effective strategic plans to improve supply chain operations.
* Collaborating with key internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
* Analysing and evaluating supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
* Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards in all supply chain processes.
* Leading and motivating a team to achieve set objectives and targets.
* Handling any supply chain issues or disruptions swiftly and effectively.
* Supporting business growth to develop global supply chain functions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
* A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in supply chain management in the retail industry.
* Ability or willingness to overhaul and set up a new Supply Chain Team within an SME.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
* Ability to work in the office 5 days per week in Malmesbury.
