Our client, a reputable manufacturer based Manchester, is seeking a talented individual to become an essential part of their dynamic team. Job Details: Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site. Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities. Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support. Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns. Able to organise and supervise various contractors as required at the site. Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce re-occurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure. Qualifications/Experience: Must have minimum of 6 years experience within Manufacturing NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential) 17th / 18th Edition SAP experience (desirable but not essential) Electrical experience in an ATEX Zone (desirable but not essential) CompEX (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (desirable but not essential) Training in MEWP’s, mobile scaffold and lifting equipment (desirable) What’s on offer: Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm / 10:00am – 6:00pm weekly rotation.
