Progression to Directorship in Share Plans - Reading
Join this Global Employer Services team as a key player in delivering exceptional reward and share scheme services to an impressive portfolio of clients. This role not only places you at the forefront of client engagements but also sets a clear path for your progression to Directorship. You'll be working closely with Directors and Partners, supporting them in providing high-level tax compliance and advisory services.
Your Journey to Directorship:
As you manage a diverse portfolio of clients, you'll also be instrumental in achieving business growth targets, contributing to the strategic development of the group. This role provides valuable exposure to both client-facing and operational aspects, preparing you for a future Directorship role. With opportunities to lead, develop, and manage team members, your influence will extend across the group, positioning you as a key leader on the path to senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Advanced Tax Advisory: Skilled in advising on tax treatments for share options and other forms of employee share ownership.
* Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of EMI, ESS, and related tax areas, including employment tax, NIC, and capital gains tax.
* Specialized Skills: Experience with split interest, freezer, and nil paid arrangements.
* Client Relations: Skilled in direct client management, fee agreements, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Valuation and Compliance: Experienced in share valuation preparation and managing HMRC interactions.
* Leadership Qualities: Proven experience in staff management, mentoring, and a readiness to take on increased leadership responsibilities.
* Qualifications: Degree level (LLB preferred), and/or CTA, ATT, ACA qualified or equivalent.
