We are seeking a dedicated Repair Centre Technician to join our Service and Repair Fulfilment Centre team We are looking for someone who will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing hardware faults on PCs, Laptops, phones and AIO some Servers and have some limited software fixes to achieve in line with KPI and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Responsibility, diagnosing and fixing hardware faults on PCs, Laptops, phones and AIO some Servers and have some limited software fixes to achieve. To assist with the delivery of the Service Repair Centre KPIs. Ensure that anti-static precautions are taken along with appropriate care while working on all equipment. Carry out quality assurance to PC, Notebooks and All-in-One equipment and ensure that all work is recorded on the company system. Responsibility for the packing and dispatch of repaired devices. Ensure that effective communication is maintained with the customer at all times. Comply with the Data Protection and other accreditation requirements. Maintain a tidy work environment at all times. Support colleagues and share information throughout the team. Demonstrate commitment and flexibility to working within a changing environment and culture. Always adhere to Health & Safety requirements. Pass relevant / required customer specific accreditations including the general A qualification. Comply with Stone’s internal management systems and safety procedures. Desired Qualifications : Repair Centre experience Experience of some or all of the following Break/Fix across Stone, Toshiba, Apple, Lenovo, Acer, Samsung, Dell, HP and Asus Desktop, Laptops and general Technical Support CompTIA A certification would be useful but not essential Knowledge of ‘5S’ and Lean working practices Job details: This is a full time position - 37 hours per week.
