My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented Principal / Associate Structural Engineer to join their Hull team.

* £60,000+ per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Manage a team and act as Line Manager to team members, ensuring effective communication and performance management.
* Take responsibility for the design philosophy, options, and technical reviews.
* Manage project changes, fees, and timelines to meet client and company objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as Key Account/Relationship Manager for certain clients.
* Quote for projects and support the Office Director in client management and development.
Technical Expertise:
* Lead the structural engineering design process, overseeing technical drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, REVIT, TEKLA, and MasterSeries.
* Ensure the designers risk assessments are carried out at appropriate stages under the CDM Regulations.
* Engage with BIM (Building Information Modelling) activities and deliverables, producing coordinated 3-D design models and documentation.
* Immediate projects include high-rise schemes and residential developments for various developers.
* Main project types encompass a broad variety, including steel, concrete, and modular structures.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* A bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a masters degree is advantageous).
* Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
* Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
