If you are a hands on Process Engineer with a background in manufacturing looking to join a Global Business we want to speak to you This is a great opportunity to join the operations team at this busy manufacturing business that is based on the outskirts of Leicester City Centre and easily commutable from Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Working in this fast paced environment you will provide technical support while implementing continuous improvements to the manufacturing process of this essential household product. This is a company that cares about the planet and its carbon footprint. You will be working closely with the wider technical team and operators to monitor and improve the processes and identify where improvement can be made in productivity, quality and costs. Main Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer Develop process and improvements while monitoring capability and process Root cause analyst solving quality, technical and safety concerns Make improvement to increase capacity and reduce costs Collaborate with the shift leaders to write the training programs for operators including flow charts Identify with where production productivity can be made and implement changes Preparation and modification of production procedures, and maintain manufacturing Benefits of this Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer Monday – Friday Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 17.00 pm 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (This rises after two years of service) Paid Overtime Company Pension Private Healthcare Skills required to be a Manufacturing Production / Process Engineer Engineering Degree Ideally mechanical with a minimum of 2 years experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment Experience of LEAN in manufacturing A solid understanding of 5 WHY, root cause analysis Sigma Six knowledge would also be desirable.
