Manage Navy Command Head Quarters (NCHQ) input to EMMA ensuring that sufficient capacity exists within Royal Navy/Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RN/RFA) assets and necessary clearances, and stockpile are in place to meet the Logistic Requirements. Provide administrative support to users of EMMA, handling accounts and providing advice and guidance on its use. Ensure that EMMA standing data is maintained and is accurate, reliable, and timely. Maintain and update the EMMA guidance document & flowcharts as required. Coordinate and chair the EMMA working group. Act as a focal point in the process of the clearance of munitions to go onboard ships, by collaborating closely with ships, Platform Duty Holders, Fleet Explosives, Project Team’s and Defence Munitions. Review requests from Ships Div for permanent (S130) or temporary increases (INXS) in allowances or enhancements in capability. Negotiate requirements through budget managers, Platform and Equipment IPTs and agree optimum solution with all parties. Monitor Bans /Constraints/New Munitions and take appropriate actions when required. Coordinate and provide administrative and secretarial support to the Maritime Munitions Availability Working Group (MMAWG). Coordinate and provide administrative and secretarial support to the Maritime Environment Working Group (MEWG). Provide administrative support for meetings as required.
