We’re looking for a Civils Operative to join our Network Build and Maintenance team, playing a crucial role in expanding and maintaining cutting-edge telecoms infrastructure. Salary – Up to £34,260 dependent on experience
Location – Fields Based, Hull and Surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities
As a Civils Operative, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks that keep our network running smoothly, including:
* Excavating and reinstating highways, footways, and private land in line with industry regulations (NRSWA, HSG47, SROH).
* Installing cabinets, duct networks, fibre cables, and blown fibre tubes.
* Using specialist tools and scanning equipment (Cat & Genny) to identify services safely.
* Managing traffic setups to ensure safe working environments.
* Problem-solving and providing solutions to challenges that arise during construction and maintenance.
This is a physically demanding role where you’ll be working in a variety of settings—from public roads to private gardens—adapting to different surfaces and conditions.
Requirements
We’re after motivated individuals with a safety-first mindset, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering quality work. You’ll need:
* Experience in civil engineering, utilities, or telecoms network builds.
* Knowledge of excavation, reinstatement, and compliance with industry standards.
* Drivers licence as you will drive a commercial vehicle.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A problem-solving mindset with a “right-first time” approach.
* Willingness to complete all necessary training and competency assessments.
