POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Global SAP Analytics Associate Global Process Manager (AGPM) acts as a crucial internal business consultant, leveraging both global process standards and deep technical system expertise to drive McCormick's global transformation. This role goes beyond general process consultation by focusing specifically on the strategic advancement of self-service Analytics across the organization. With the transition to S/4HANA and the expansion of SAP Analytics tools, including SAC, Analysis for Office, Datasphere, and Microsoft Power BI, the AGPM ensures seamless alignment between business requirements and cutting-edge technology solutions.
This alignment fosters a data-driven culture, maximizes the return on McCormick's SAP Analytics investments, and ultimately transforms the company's Analytics landscape, driving efficiency and innovation through actionable insights. The AGPM collaborates closely with Global Process Managers, Global Process Owners, business leaders, and the Organizational Readiness team, contributing to key design decisions (KDDs), user role mapping, and the execution of business metrics to ensure site deployment readiness.
Demonstrating strong business and technical acumen, the AGPM builds a comprehensive understanding of the program's future state and serves as a vital subject matter expert on SAP Analytics tools, leading and promoting the adoption of self-service Analytics across all process workstreams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Champion Self-Service Analytics: Lead and promote the adoption of self-service Analytics across all process workstreams, serving as a subject matter expert on SAP Analytics tools (including SAP Analysis for Office, Fiori Apps, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere and Power BI) and empowering business users to access and analyze data independently.
* Guide and Support Analytics Captains: Provide guidance and support to Analytics Captains, collaborating with the Global Process Coordinator to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to effectively leverage SAP Analytics tools through aligned and effective training programs.
* Shape Training and Communication: Influence training materials and sessions to elevate self-service Analytics understanding and adoption across the organization, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels and promoting the benefits of self-service analytics.
* Lead Solution Confirmation and Global Process Alignment: Take ownership of driving alignment for Analytics solution confirmation across releases, including planning, execution, and communication of readouts, ensuring process workstreams and development efforts are synchronized.
* Process Improvement and KPI Management: Contribute to continuous improvement of global policies and processes related to SAP Analytics, defining, and implementing KPIs and performance measures leveraging best practice benchmarking with a focus on continuous improvement, and ensuring adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implement necessary corrections.
* Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to training and adoption of SAP Analytics tools, driving adoption of global process standards, and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, and collaborating with process workstreams to drive testing, change, training, data, cutover, and hyper care activities.
* Team Leadership: Provide indirect leadership and guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, and contributing to performance management through feedback and input on team members' contributions.
* Report Change Management: Lead the process to identify and communicate report changes from release to release, partnering with process workstreams and the development team to ensure business users have clear guidance on which reports to use and when, minimizing disruption and maximizing the value of reporting tools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
* Bachelor's Degree in related professional area with a proven work experience in lieu.
* Conveys credibility to influence and appropriately challenge business decisions with levels of leadership; escalates concerns as necessary.
* Ability to present complex information and represent the function in a variety of meetings, both internally and externally.
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage large scale projects and people and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines with results.
* Customer focused approach.
* Technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as integrated systems requiring data reporting and Analytics.
* Demonstrated SAP experience and ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and adjacent platforms.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and expertise across the global workstream capabilities.
* Extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including designing and developing dashboards, stories, and analytical applications.
* Proficiency in data visualization best practices and tools, with a focus on creating clear and compelling visual representations of data.
* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in areas related to Analytics and reporting (i.e. SAP Datasphere).
