At Amplius, we have an exciting opportunity as an Information Management Coordinator in the Compliance and Regulation Team. Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, you'll help ensure compliance with data protection laws while advancing privacy and compliance strategies.

Location: Milton Keynes. One day in office minimum, 4 days working from home.
Salary: £35,000 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5pm)
Snapshot of your role
1. Support departments and data owners to improve data compliance across the organisation.
2. Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Assistant DPO in developing and reviewing compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
3. Promote data protection by design, data integrity, and a culture of compliance through advice and guidance.
4. Standardise and embed data management processes, fostering a culture of data privacy awareness.
5. Understand data processing operations, including their business applications and regulatory impacts.
6. Help maintain Records of Processing Activity (ROPA), supporting data stewards and owners.
7. Handle data protection tasks such as Subject Access Requests, DPIAs, and incident management.
8. Support delivery of Data Protection training and provide advice across the organisation.
9. Collaborate on new projects to minimise risk and ensure compliance.
10. Raise awareness and support staff with data protection and compliance issues.
11. Ensure data compliance remains a high priority across the organisation.
Your toolkit for success
1. Understanding of information governance and regulatory requirements.
2. Experience with UK GDPR compliance, including handling complaints, breaches, and security incidents.
3. A degree in a data-related field or equivalent education and experience.
4. Skilled in managing information requests and DPIAs.
5. Record management experience.
6. Accountable decision-making with consideration of impacts and implications.
7. Ability to handle concerns and requests regarding customer and staff data.
