The Client Services Executive owns the growth and overall performance for the assigned relationships within one account. S / he executes and manages the account plan under the guidance of the Client Partner.
Market Leadership
Creates sales strategy and plan for the CP’s review and for its incorporation into a broader client strategy and plan.
Relationship Management
Executes and manages the account plan under the guidance of the Client Partner. Invests time in strengthening existing client relationships. Participates in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives.
Business Development
Responds to and delivers on client requests; responds to RFPs. Identifies opportunities and makes proactive proposals to clients in line with Account Strategy. Obtains approvals to pursue opportunities and engages the relevant teams for solutions.
Mandatory Skills:
* Seasoned business development professional with a trailblazing track record in acquiring new businesses.
* Thorough domain knowledge and experience in Banking and Finance with awareness / expertise in the latest digital innovations in the industry / domain.
* Possess an interest and passion for engaging senior-level executives in transformation solutions through a consultative approach.
* Strategic thinking and the confidence and ability to plan ahead and stay the course.
* Proven track record of winning large deals and acquiring new logos.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make deals happen.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the market.
* Must be able to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix, and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
* Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams. Should be a team player and able to lead different teams to a common goal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Will be accountable for the business growth of the portfolio.
* Strategize and create a blueprint for increased mindshare and wallet share in respective market segments / portfolios.
* Will be responsible for strategic planning for the portfolio driving customer satisfaction.
* Actively participate in business planning / budgeting exercises and provide a view to senior management.
* Will be responsible for high-level relationship management with clients and serve as the primary management contact and client liaison.
* Generate leads and aggressively pursue them to closure.
* Actively manage the pipeline and ensure healthy deals in the pipeline.
* Represent Cognizant in industry forums / conferences / speaker / panel sessions, etc.
* P&L management for respective portfolio.
