If yes, then this role might be for you The Oxfordshire CAMHS Getting More Help (GMH) team provides a community service to children and adolescents who are experiencing mental illness, those who may require a formulation of ongoing difficulties, using multiple evidence-based interventions. Our service is currently developing, and we are recruiting for a number of new roles. The post will be based in Oxford South GMH, a team with a reputation for being creative, innovative, forward thinking, dynamic and research led. The wellbeing of staff is top of the agenda, and a strong ethos of collaboration, shared reflection and team working. Whilst this post is the first in the South GMH team, the North GMH team already has a similar post, with whom the post holder will be working closely with. We are looking for someone with existing or transferable experience/skills and a passion to work with children and young people with complex difficulties, to improve service quality and empower recovery. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, creative to find solutions, an excellent communicator and leader, and with good organisational skills. Main duties of the job Using your clinical expertise, you will provide help and support to patients with complex presentations, and adopt a lead role in the provision of evidence-based interventions and/or support the wider professional network with understanding the young person's presentation, and adhere to care plans. You will be expected to exercise autonomous clinical responsibility for the assessment and formulation, treatment and discharge of patients in the service; whilst being embedded within a diverse multidisciplinary team. The role will enable you to offer professional leadership and expert advice, consultancy and supervision to support the work of colleagues providing care and treatment. You will also liaise with members of other disciplines and agencies responsible for client care.
