Scheme Manager (Extra Care) - Temp until end of Jan 2025 We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Scheme Manager on a temporary basis on behalf of a well-established housing association in Merseyside. You will be based at one of their Extra Care Schemes, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housing management, as well as line management responsibility of an on-site Coordinator and Administrator. Your new role Full responsibility of operational management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs & preferences of residents. Lettings, allocations, viewings, sign-ups and inductions with new residents Facilitating monthly meetings with residents and annual service charge meetings Manage breaches of tenancies and incidents on site relating to neighbour nuisance or low level anti-social behaviour Dealing with low level complaints and general queries Assisting with logging repairs and chasing existing requests Routine health & safety compliance checks and risk assessments Providing reports on performance, outcomes and ensuring detailed records are maintained What you'll need to succeed Minimum 2 years' experience working in the social housing sector, with older and/or vulnerable people within a housing environment Good knowledge and understanding of housing/tenancy management principles and relevant legislation Experience of allocations, lettings, completing assessments & support plans, managing caseloads and multi-agency working Experience of crisis management and risk minimisation Knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits system with the ability to provide budgeting advice What you'll get in return Weekly pay Hourly rates up to £21.65 per hour Temp contract until end of Jan 2025 Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella ASAP starts What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
