Full Job Description
As part of their exciting expansion plans, they are seeking a Head of Risk & Compliance - this is a newly created position.
The role
* Effectively designing and building a robust, new risk management framework and embedding within the business
* Effectively designing and executing an audit plan for the business
* Engaging senior level stakeholders to take them on a 'risk journey' and driving a risk management culture with full support and backing from the board
* This is effectively a 'greenfield site' and a chance to really 'put your own slant on it'
* Engaging with senior stakeholders to support the identification and management of key risks and to promote effective governance, risk management, control and assurance.
* Developing an effective and proportionate risk framework, that aligns with the Group’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
* Developing the internal audit and compliance methodology and plan
* Preparing clear, concise, and timely audit reports.
* Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Group Company boards.
* Developing a high performing compliance and internal audit team across the business
The Person
- IRM/ACA/ACCA/Internal Audit Qualification will be of particular interest but is not essential
- Knowledge of developing and embedding risk management frameworks from scratch will also be of particular interest
