Overview:
Are you a dynamic individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for meticulous planning and diary management? We’re currently recruiting for a Contracts Analyst to join our busy and friendly office in Chelmsford, with the flexibility to work from home a couple of days a week.
As part of our Partner Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in the on-boarding of new trading partners. This involves working closely with the first line business to manage all aspects of onboarding, including establishing appropriate contractual agreements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Analyst looking to gain experience within a regulated environment at one of the world’s largest insurance brokerage firms. High attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
How you'll make an impact:
* Negotiation and support of standard and non-standard introducer contracts and their associated contract administration.
* Plan, and agree with the Agency Director procedures, which will deliver a comprehensive, risk based due diligence process for the on-boarding and ongoing review of Third Party Introducers, IARs (Introducer Appointed Representatives) and ARs (Appointed Representatives).
* Accurately maintain and as appropriate publish various compliance central records of Third Party Introducers, IARs and ARs.
* Manage relationships with others - including but not limited to; Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime - and ensure procedures are in place to accurately document all Third Party Introducer, IAR and AR trading relationships with corresponding contractual Agreements.
* Continue to develop and maintain an understanding of the UK regulatory framework as it applies to your role.
* Work with the support of the wider Partner Assurance Team, AR Business Partners, Compliance Team, and Regulatory Director to prepare and deliver documented reporting to the FCA and support or reject Gallagher Third Party, IAR and AR requests.
About you:
* You’ll have experience of working with contract drafting and co-ordination in a similar environment.
* An awareness of KYC and Knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Markets would be beneficial.
* Outstanding communication skills, an active listener with excellent organisational skills.
* Work well under pressure and without supervision, you have an excellent attitude towards new challenges!
* Keen and confident to prioritise and organise your own workload.
* Happy to talk to people that you do not know over the telephone, keen to build strong, long-lasting business relationships.
* Confident in writing and constructing emails, letters and other correspondence as needed.
* Proficient in MS Office, solid IT skills and an ability to learn about new systems.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
