As a rapidly expanding company, our client is looking for a proactive and efficient candidate with previous experience in an accounts administration position.
As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the smooth running of the credit control and purchase ledger functions. This includes undertaking a wide range of accounting activities, such as day-to-day maintenance and reconciliation of the cash books and bank accounts.
You will be responsible for awarding and maintaining customer credit accounts, monitoring all aspects of credit control, and preparing weekly payments to suppliers. Additionally, you will be required to submit banking reports on a daily basis and assist in preparing month end, quarter end, and year end banking audits and financial accounts.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Previous accounts experience gained within a finance or accounting function.
2. A good level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and computer-based accounting software.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
4. The ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
The working hours for this position are as follows:
1. Full Time: Monday – Friday between 9.00am – 5.30pm
2. Part Time: Monday – Wednesday between 9:00am – 5:30pm
