We are excited to have recently expanded our portfolio with the establishment of a new Insurance Division.
Our new Insurance Division aims to provide bespoke and comprehensive insurance solutions, leveraging our expertise and existing business network to drive success.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to lead and develop this newly formed Insurance Division, ensuring it becomes a key pillar of our Group’s continued success.
Role Overview:
The Head of Insurance will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic direction of the new Insurance Division. The successful candidate will be a proven leader with deep industry knowledge, responsible for achieving ambitious growth targets through the development of effective sales strategies, business development, and relationship management. This is a high-profile role requiring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and lead teams. Collaboration will play a key part in this role, you will work closely with leaders across our Audit, Accounts, Tax, Legal and Advisory teams to maximise cross sell opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the newly established Insurance Division, ensuring alignment with the Group’s overall strategy.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targeted business objectives.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients and business partners.
* Oversee and drive lead generation initiatives across the Group to maximise business opportunities.
* Collaborate with senior decision-makers and external business partners to explore and develop new business opportunities.
* Initiate scheme development targeted towards specialist sectors, enhancing the division’s market position.
* Provide strong leadership, coaching, and clear communication to the Insurance Team and key stakeholders across the business.
* Ensure the division operates in full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
* Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring the division meets profitability targets.
* Drive operational efficiencies and enhance service delivery through process improvements and technology adoption.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong track record in new business generation, general management, and business development within the UK General Insurance market. Or currently part of a management team and seeking the first step into senior leadership. We are very open to speaking to candidates that are looking to take that next step but have not had the right opportunity yet.
We are looking for someone who can thrive in a growing business, with the attitude and energy to drive this new project and will enjoy working with autonomy alongside fostering strong relationships across the Group and externally to amplify cross sell opportunities.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in leading and developing an Insurance Broking business.
* We are very open to speaking to candidates that are looking to take that next step but have not had the opportunity yet.
* Strong background in business development and client relationship management within the insurance sector.
* Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and business growth strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the presence and maturity to engage effectively with corporate clients in a professional environment.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing, mentoring, and motivating teams.
* ACII qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of industry experience within the UK General Insurance market.
* Strong analytical and financial management skills to drive profitability and operational excellence.
* Experience in digital transformation and the use of technology to enhance customer experience and service delivery.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and making data-driven decisions.
