La Fosse seeks an innovative, results-driven Head of People Experience to lead our dynamic People Experience team through rapid growth and transformation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking HR leader with a proven track record of driving real change and making a tangible impact within their organisation. As we scale from 250 to 500+ employees, you'll play a critical role in shaping the People Experience function and cultivating a culture that embodies our core values of Care, Humility, and Ambition.
You’ll be the visionary behind our people strategy, crafting bold initiatives to support La Fosse’s growth and empower every business individual to thrive. By partnering closely with the leadership team, you will ensure our People function aligns seamlessly with our overall business objectives, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation, engagement, and performance flourish.
You will have experience in expanding the business across multiple geographies. A key part of the role will be supporting the opening of new entities across EMEA and APAC regions, ensuring that our people strategy is globally aligned and locally impactful. Your expertise in managing international compliance, culture integration, and operational setup will be crucial to driving La Fosse’s global growth.
This is more than a typical HR leadership role – we are looking for someone who has successfully navigated the challenges of scaling a business. You’ll bring your expertise in scaling teams, navigating complex organisational design, and creating sustainable people practices that enable growth while ensuring a high-performance culture. If you’re passionate about building an inclusive, high-energy workplace where talent is nurtured and development is championed, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Transformational Strategy: Partner with the CPO and leadership team to design and execute a people strategy that fuels La Fosse’s growth and drives operational success. Lead the change as we scale, developing innovative HR solutions and anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
* Building High-Performance Culture : Champion La Fosse’s high-performance culture by collaborating with the Head of Performance & Development to embed practical frameworks, tools, and coaching into the organisation. Ensure our people have the support to elevate their performance continually.
* Global Expansion: Lead the opening of new entities across EMEA and APAC, managing international compliance, navigating diverse cultural landscapes, and ensuring seamless integration of these regions into the wider company culture and people strategy.
* Workforce Planning: Work with senior leaders and our Talent Acquisition team to ensure our workforce planning and organisational design support our growth ambitions, maintaining a focus on profitability and efficiency.
* Employee Engagement & Retention: Lead efforts to foster employee engagement and retention, ensuring everyone feels valued, supported, and equipped to succeed in a rapidly scaling environment.
* Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure DEI is ingrained into every process and decision, helping build a workplace that reflects our commitment to diversity and belonging.
* People Operations Excellence: Oversee the scaling of our People Operations function, introducing automation and technology enhancements that streamline processes and create efficiencies. Empower the team to focus on high-impact initiatives that enrich the employee experience.
* Employee Experience & Wellbeing: Drive key projects that shape the employee experience, from benefits and policies to career development programs, ensuring a holistic approach to well-being and growth.
* Employee Ownership & Voice: Lead initiatives to embed employee ownership into La Fosse’s culture, using feedback loops and other tools to empower our people to contribute to shaping the company’s future.
Requirements
* Need for speed : You’ve held a senior people partnering leadership role in a fast-paced scale-up
* Subject matter expertise : You have demonstrable experience leading a people partnering strategy and have a track record of helping improve performance, increase engagement, and reduce attrition.
* Passion : You believe in the power of building diverse and inclusive teams to build thriving companies and cultures. You stop at nothing to ensure this is felt in every team across the business.
* Right-hand person: You can build relationships with managers of all levels. You’re empathetic, compassionate, and commercially astute.
* Progressive and Proactive : We’re not looking for your traditional people partner—we’re looking for someone with a track record of scaling people operations as a product and constantly innovating to improve the employee experience. You identify opportunities by connecting the dots and proactively developing solutions that increase enterprise value and employee experience.
* Inspiring Leader : You are an inspiring people partner, someone people inherently trust and who consistently receives positive 360-degree feedback.
* People partnering guru : You know your stuff in the Employee Relations space and are a leader in the best, most innovative people practices (while ensuring the less shiny bits, i.e., Payroll, are running slick, too).
* Little things make big things happen : You pride yourself on your attention to detail and following through on your commitments. You’re organised, pragmatic and passionate about finding more efficient ways of scaling our People Operations, knowing this is key for us to build a credible People team.
* Flexible – We believe flexibility works both ways and is built on trust. Whilst we’re driven by output over hours, we do think there’s huge value in being together in person, so you should be based in London and would be happy to be in the office 3 days a week
* Storytelling : You use data and structured thinking to win hearts and minds.
* Scaling teams : You will have experience scaling a company from 250 to 500+ employees.
