About the role: As an SEN Teacher, you will design and deliver tailored lessons that address the unique learning needs of each student. Your role will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom, ensuring that students excel both academically and socially. Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring that all pupils are engaged and supported. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to individual learning needs. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to support learning outcomes. Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement personalised learning plans (PLPs) and strategies for students. Provide a positive and structured environment where students can develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Support students in developing their independence, communication, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students. The Successful Candidate Will: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
